It always makes me smile browsing through these covers. I may have commented on ‘Hundred Best Tunes vol 3’ first time around, in which case, my apologies. That mantelpiece is far too high. How did they ever reach the clock? With a stepladder!? At least the old girl is proudly displaying the Wimbledon trophy she won in 1935. Meanwhile, their 38 year old daughter props herself up on a cushion, listening to Sounds of the Sixties, hoping to dull the memories of a painful divorce. Dad’s wondering whose dog has just wandered in and perched on his lap.
